SJ Higgins is a medium-sized construction company operating principally throughout greater Melbourne, Geelong and regional Victoria. Our head office is located in Hampton East in Melbourne. We also have branch offices in Sydney and Brisbane which gives us the ability to complete national rollouts. In recent years, we have successfully delivered several projects in remote areas, for example, Tom Price, Karratha and Albany in WA, Alice Springs in NT, Innisfail and Ingham in Qld, and Port Lincoln in SA.
Our business undertakes a wide range of construction projects, including private and government schools, universities, aged care facilities, nursing homes, retirement villages, supermarkets and shopping centres, office blocks, industrial buildings, hotels, showrooms and sporting facilities.

Our Retail Division has particluar expertise in refurbishing supermarkets and other retail outlets where the construction program must ensure minimal disruption to the clients' trading activities.
The company began operations in 1980. It has six directors, Stephen Higgins, Ewen McPherson, Bruce Turnbull, Carl Scavo, Peter Sandys and Shannon Synnott. Together with their professional team of experienced staff, their aim is to ensure complete client satisfaction with every project.
