Construction of a 24-hour operational emergency response
complex at Essendon airfield. This world-class multipurpose facility is the
new home for the Metropolitan Ambulance
Victoria Air Services and Victoria Police.
The construction of this multipurpose facility comprises of five rotary wing hangars, two of which were maintenance hangars and two fixed wing hangars, support facilities and apron aircraft parking for the Police Air Wing and Air Ambulance Victoria
Along with the hangars the project included facilities for operations and support staff for both Victoria Police and Metropolitan Ambulance Service in two separate two storey buildings.
