The project consists of the redevelopment and extension of the existing 2,000m² Year 7 LOTE centre to a 4,000m² building. The building comprises of new classrooms, offices, multipurpose areas and associated learning facilities.

 

The new centre features a large flexible multipurpose area allowing transformation from a large open plan area to a 150 seat theatre through the installation and use of operable walls, sliding doors and retractable seating. Included is a new state-of-the-art Vento Controls Building Maintenance System, which incorporates automated heating, cooling, lighting and ventilation.

 

External works consist of new civil works including roadworks, carparking and landscaping over a 10,000m² area.

 

Throughout the project SJ Higgins Group worked closely with the Client as constant school access was required during the construction phase.
